The Department of Education and Early Development (DEED) Assessment Team will present on the statewide assessments for 2021-22: The Alaska System of Academic Readiness (AK STAR), Alaska Science, and Alternate Assessment. Presenters will describe the AK STAR’s purpose and use, review elements of the test design, and inform educators about student supports and professional learning opportunities. Presenters will also give a brief overview of the Alaska Science Assessment and Alternate Assessment.
