Lights, camera, ACTION! This presentation will focus on the evidence-based practice of video modeling and how emotional regulation skills can be taught to individuals on the autism spectrum through the use of technology and personalized videos. We will discuss how to use three different types of video modeling to teach mindfulness and self-regulation techniques. After attending this session you will be able to select one or more types of video modeling that is appropriate for your learner to use at home, school, or in the community. Move over Steven Spielberg, there's a new director in town!
